I love Gilmore Girls!
And Grey's Anatomy
FYI

I'm tired...

Not really tired emotionally (well, that too but whatever...) but emotionally, spiritually, mentally. There are so many tough decisions and so much piling on.

Here's a written piece in some newsletter I found...
The Sooner You Act, The Better Things Will Be
The sooner you deal with a problem, the less of a problem it will be. The sooner you act on an opportunity, the more value that opportunity can bring. The time to act is now. The longer you wait, the more you put yourself at a disadvantage. No matter how far ahead or how far behind you may be, there is always something you can do. Be willing to act sooner rather than later, and your actions will be all the more effective. Stop waiting for conditions to be perfect. Regardless of what the conditions may be, there is some way to start moving positively ahead right now. Sure, there are plenty of good excuses for failing to act. Yet they all pale in comparison to the advantage you'll gain by going ahead and getting started.
The sooner you act, the better things will be.
I thought that was kind of interesting. Anyways I have to go back to writing my paper due in the next 12 hours! eek.

45 days...

First of all, 45 days till my birthday! And, yes, Jin Sol it is a big one! I will not be home that night but will be living it up here at school. All of my friends are really excited for my birthday too because finally I will be able to go out with them!
I can't wait to get through this week - I have a paper and an outline due on Friday. I've also been working on a powerpoint for my parents. It's their 25th wedding anniversary and there's an open house this Friday night. So I've been scanning pictures and making a powerpoint thing to go up on the tv throughout the night. So this Friday night I get to get dressed up! Which I'm pretty excited about - I've been looking like a bum lately.
What else has been going on.... nothing much. Jordan and Jason came up on Sunday to visit me and watch football with me! (p.s. thanks guys). It was so much fun, basically because last week was a really stressful week. I threw out my back (yes, I do realize I sound like an old lady...), my alarm clock didn't go off for work one morning when I had to open, and many other things happened last week. So even though I should have gotten so much school work done on Sunday, I don't regret one bit just relaxing with the guys. I'm looking forward to relaxing this weekend too - with the parent's party, and then seeing Jordan, Jason and Lindsay. Maybe even make it up to Guelph to watch Laurier play (and beat...) Guelph.
Back to work I must go. You guys ALL rock my socks!

So I've been meaning to update for quite a while... but haven't. Thanks for the push Jin-Sol!
Worst nightmare happened this morning. I work @ Curves (a gym for women, for those who don't know...) and open on Wednesday and Thursday mornings. I'm the only staff there until later in the morning or afternoon... So I get a call at at home at 7:30 from my boss and she's at work, and I'm definately still in bed... My alarm didn't go off. I feel so awful now... and really embarassed...
School's been overwhleming - word out to all you first years, enjoy this year while you can, because second year means alot more work.
And ps - 51 days until my birthday!!!
