OK... so I should definately be changing the name of my Blog Title. My life is definately not boring. Insane, for sure. Boring, not so much... Decisions suck ass. Greg and I have talked about this: there should be rules about confusion, emotions, feelings, and confusing situations...

So I'm sure that every university student has gone through this... I find it especially difficult when I go home for long periods of time i.e. Christmas, summer.
So what/where is "home"? I got a definition of "home" from google. Here are some of the suggestions.
- where you live at a particular time
- the country or state or city where you live
- an environment offering affection and security
- at or to or in the direction of one's home or family
- relating to or being where one lives or where one's roots are
- Home is a place where a person lives, spends much of her time, or feels generally comfortable with. While a house (or other residential dwelling) is often referred to as a home, and is home to many people, the concept of "home" is broader than a physical dwelling. Home is often a place of refuge and safety, where worldy cares fade, with things and people you love becoming the focus. Home is central to one's life, primarily emotional, and partially physical.
So... is home where my family is? Where the majority of my friends are? Where I spend most of my time? *sigh*

What a way to finish a term: Star Wars marathon! It was absolutely sick! SO much fun!
I have mixed feelings about going home for the holidays... Too many situations in Hamilton that should be "interesting" (not exactly a good "interesting" either) to face. I'll just listen to Dylan: "Just ignore things. They go away." =P Thanks, Dyl.

Not meant to offend...
In light of recent incidents regarding boys, I am posting the following quotes. Now, boys, I really don't think you're all bad, and I realize alot of the following quotes could probably be said about women... but right now I just really need to vent. I'm sorry....
"I wish my mom would have told me the same thing about guys as she did about horror movies... don't worry, they're all fake."
"Love is like Tug-of-war, one jerk after another."
If God had wanted women to chase men, he would have made the men worth catching."
"There are easier things in life than finding a good man.... nailing Jell-o to a tree for instance."
"Men are stupid. If you forget, they will remind you."
"Men are like fish.. neither would get in trouble if they kept their mouths shut."
"Men are living proof that women can take a joke!"
"Mr. Right's coming.. but he's in Africa and he's walking!" -Oprah
"God created man before woman because you always need a rough draft."
"Everyone keeps telling me that the right guy will come along. I think mine got hit by a truck."
"Woman are carzy. Men are stupid. Women are crazy because men are stupid."
"Men are like parking spaces, all the good ones are taken and the rest are handicapped."
"I want a guy that's sensitive and caring, and that loves cats. Unfortunately, most guys like that are gay."
"A heart is not a play thing,
a heart is not a toy,
but if you want it broken,
Just give it to a boy.
Boys they like to play with things
To see what makes them run,
But when it comes to kissing,
They do it just for fun.
Boys never give their hearts away
They play us girls for fools,
They wait untill we give our hearts
And then they play it cool.
You will wonder where he is a night
You will wonder if hes true,
One moment you will be happy,
One moment you will be blue.
If you get a chance to see him
Your heart begins to dance
Your life revolves around him,
Theres nothing like romance.
And then it starts to happen,
You worry day and night
You see, my friend, you're losing him
It never turns out right.
Boys are great, though immature
The price you pay is high,
He may seem sweet and gorgeous
But remember, hes a guy.
Don't fall in love with just a boy
That takes alot of nerve.
You see, my friend, you need a man
To get what you deserve.
So when you think that you're in love,
Be careful if you can
Before you give your heart away
Make sure that hes a man."
On that note... I need to be careful with my heart... so here is one of my favourite quotes... "Above all else, guard your heart..." Proverbs 4:23

I'm 19!!!
So after hating my birthday for years because they always turn out crappy in some way, I finally had a good birthday!!! Well some aspects of it weren't pleasant.... not something to explain in a blog though.
First, started with going to Philthy's on Friday night with alot of my closest friends - it was a BLAST! The next day was the Vanier Cup which the Laurier football team won just for my birthday I'm sure! yeah right... ok I'm not that stupid... but it was a freaking AMAZING GAME!!! Unbelievably intense! The best game I've definately ever been to, perhaps have ever watched!
To those who caused more hurt than joy on my birthday, thanks for a big fat nothing... But to all of those who made my day (and weekend) so enjoyable, THANK YOU SO MUCH! *big hugs!*
